Avery
Henderson's Biography
Avery Henderson is the owner of
Henderson and Associates, a motivational speaking and human
performance training business. His mission statement is
“Helping to raise personal
and organizational productivity and morale through positive
living and working principles, emphasizing humor, creativity,
teamwork, peaceful conflict resolution and servant leadership.”
He has over 25 years of speaking,
teaching and training experience.
Avery received his doctoral training at
the University of Colorado-Boulder in Physical Anthropology
and his Masters of Public Health degree in Epidemiology at
the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He has been
on the faculties of the University of North Carolina, the
University of Tennessee and East Carolina University. For
five years Avery was the Clinical Rheumatology Research Coordinator
at Duke University Medical Center. Between 1985 and 1990 he
conducted sales, marketing and management for a major pharmaceutical
firm, Pharmacia, Inc.
